Last weekend I decided to take the kids on a “hike”.  I love hiking and have been counting the days till Wren could “hike” without being carried most of the way.  My friends at Wander North GA told me that I should start my “hiking” adventures with the kids at Duke Creek Falls in Helen, GA.
We packed up and headed out!  The trail is 2 miles round trip and at the bottom they have lovely, safe, overlooks for the falls.  The entire trail is wide, flat, and SHADY!

Wren was able to walk *almost* the entire way!  I went prepared with the sling, and I only had to carry her the very last portion of the up-hill (very small incline) walk.

Note: I shot this entire trip with my new Sigma 24mm lens.  I am WAY closer to the kids than it appears 🙂
