It’s National Cookie Day!! In honor of it, I’m sharing my favorite holiday cookie recipe. My mom’s family has been making these cookies for generations and I look forward to them every year.

I haven’t gotten around to baking a batch this season so I stole a few from my mom’s kitchen the other night so I could photograph them for you 🙂 Don’t they look yummy in all the variations?
