I met Amy when I was pregnant with Henry and teaching a photography class through the YMCA.  She attended the class along with two of her very long-time friends, Monica and Kim.  During that class, I learned that Amy would really LOVE to be a full-time photographer, but wasn’t sure she could quit her full-time job.  By the end of the class, I KNEW Amy could be a full-time photographer, she’d just have to decide that that was what she really wanted to do!

Since then, Amy and I have become good friends.  We traveled to Las Vegas earlier this year to attend WPPI together and we try to see each other as often as we can manage – Amy is one busy lady!  She’s not quit her full-time job, but is taking sessions regularly (I’m proud to say!).  If you’d like to see some of her work, check out her Facebook page here: Honeysuckle Blue Photography

I had such a good time hanging out with Amy and Scott during this session!  For the life of us, we could not decide where to shoot.  You’d think that two photographers would be able to do this easily, as we choose locations on a daily basis, but nothing seemed to make sense…  In the end, we decided to stay in Hartwell and head to the dam.
