Top 3 Reasons You Should Invest in Yearly Photography

The days are long, but the years are short – you’ve heard that saying, I’m sure! You have the best of intentions about hiring someone to document your family, but time slips by and you forget to research a photographer or set money aside to invest in photography. Before you know it, five years have passed and all you have to show for it is a bunch of mediocre photos on your phone. From my Yearly Photo Program to my flexible schedule, I’ve got you covered. Never let a year go by without documenting life as it is right now!

Read on for my top 3 reasons for investing in Yearly Family Photography

  1. Watch Your Family Grow, Year-After-Year

Search your phone photos for the year 2015, go on, I’ll wait; are you shocked at how much your kids have grown? I know I am – every time I scroll through my camera roll, I am amazed at how much my kids change in a month, let alone a whole year! Putting a family session on the calendar at least once a year ensures that you are documenting everyone as they are for the rest of time.

2. Pro Photographer = Family Cooperation

Have you ever thought “I’ll just use my fancy phone and take a photo of the kids! No one cares about seeing me!”? Have you ever tried to get all of your kids to look at you and stand within two inches of each other? Have you ever been successful in that attempt? No, I didn’t think so! Even as a photographer, I’m not very successful, either, with my own kids! But, if you hire a pro photographer you greatly increase the level of cooperation you get from your kids (and husband)! Bonus! You and your partner get to be in the photos, too! Because, let me be clear, everyone wants to see you guys, as well!

3. Easy-Peasy Home Decor

You probably have empty Target frames sitting in your closet with the best of intentions to actually print photos. Do more than post [to social media] and use photos from your yearly family photo session as the perfect excuse to use those frames and create new beautiful home decor!

Make a wall collage, use one at work, and gift your mom with a 5×7 for the fridge. So many endless options for fun ways to decorate your house with photos! To me, there is nothing more fun than picking my favorite family photos and hanging them on the walls! I LOVE to walk by all the gorgeous images every day and smile at them!

There ya have it! My top 3 reasons for yearly photo sessions!  Go ahead and check “book photographer” off your list and get your name on my Yearly Photo List! It’s easy, FREE, and simple! Let me know you’d like a yearly session and I’ll put you on my list of people to reach out to in late winter, and again in late summer, with the opportunity to book a session before my busy seasons start. Send me an email at sara[at]evermorephoto.co OR join this email list and I’ll take care of the rest! No need for you to stress out wondering if I’m booked or if you’ve waited too long to reach out!
