Henry loves ‘the chickens’.  Mom (Grama) has chickens.  Probably about 25-30 right now and she and Henry have to ‘visit’ the chickens about 10 times a day when I’m there.  The chicken coup is a good clip from the house and Henry can spot the chickens from the window, the door, porch, you name it, he hears them.  As soon as he has the bug to see the chickens, we get a ‘bauck, bauck’, and he brings mom her shoes and the egg basket.  He’s ready to go.  She can’t move quick enough for Henry; as she gets ready, he stands there ‘bauck, baucking, impatient to go.

The funniest part about the whole thing is that Henry is slightly afraid of the chickens.  He doesn’t want to be put on the ground and he doesn’t want mom to get to close to any of the chickens; in the coup or on the ground.  Silly kid 🙂

This morning, I was making breakfast and I heard, ‘bauck. bauck. bauck’, and I thought ‘where does he see a chicken in our kitchen?’.  Yeah, he spotted the chicken on the Zaxby’s cup that Jeremy put in the trash.  See, he’s crazy about chickens.  And BALLS, but that’s a whole other story…
