Casey and I were supposed to go to the WPPI Road Trip Seminar in Atlanta today.  I got up at 5 am to get ready. Casey called at 6 to tell me that I-285 was under 2 ft of water and closed.  What did I think we should do?  Should we go?  Should we stay home?  There is no other way to the hotel where the event was/is being held.  And where on earth is 2 ft of water going to go?  Not to mention numerous stalled vehicles and 3 or 4 accidents.  So we decided to go back to bed and talk again at 9.  At 9, things looked a little more promising, and we decided to go.  I got dressed again, got in the car, and then after much debate we realized that driving home at 6:30 pm in rain (because it’s supposed to rain all day) during rush hour wouldn’t be a good idea.  So.  Casey and I are super disappointed.  Maybe next time.
