My hope.

I wander around the house and think up posts. I drive a million miles and think up posts. I read other peoples posts and love that I get glimpes into their daily lives. I want to be able to record life as it now. The happy times, the times I want to sell my kid to the zoo (love you forever reference), the times I don’t really want to remember, the times I never want to forget. I think we are so lucky, our generation, to be able to so easily document our lives. Society doesn’t mind if we chat online or blog about gardening. It’s amazing to me that we’ve come so far.

Here I am, sitting in my chair, nursing my giant child to sleep and blogging. How cool is that? Thank you, Squarespace, for a really awesome app. My mom on the other hand sat in her chair nursing someone (she’s got five kids) and all she could do was watch soaps and talk on the phone to only people that were local. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure she enjoyed her soaps and the phone, goodness knows that I enjoy the phone, but I sure would love to read about what my moms life was like when I was a kid.

So, to continue the thought about my hope. I hope to be able to find the time to blog more often. And to blog about my life as well as the sessions and weddings I photograph. I hope that I can overcome the feeling that makes me feel as though I’m a terrible writer and that my life is too boring to write about. Oh, I’m going to tell my self, just do it. After all, that’s what I would tell some one else!

To help with my memories, I’ve been taking quick pics with my phone. I’m going to post as I go. I hope you enjoy them.
