Ya’ll I have been patiently waiting to have a chance to go through the 300+ images I took of this adorable family.  Life, work, and sickness prevented me from doing it last month, right after I shot them, and today, I just couldn’t wait any longer!  They are some of my favorite family images that I’ve ever taken.  I love them, as you’ll see from the long post.  And I feel very honored to have had the opportunity to photograph these lovely people before they moved to St. Croix!  To read more about Heather and Matthew’s adventure, read her blog: www.heathermaynard.com

Heather and Matthew are/were both professional photographers and I know from experience that it’s easy to think that you don’t need to hire a photographer to take photos of your kids or of you as a family, because you have skill to do it yourself, but gosh, what I wouldn’t give for some photos like these of me and Henry when he was this age 🙂  Makes me want to schedule a session with Logan, pronto!
