Where do I begin? Hmmm…. Melissa and Jesse are my very best friend, Casey’s other very best friends. And because Casey and Missy and Casey and I are close, Missy and I feel like we know each other a lot more than we actually do 🙂 Which is why I was so excited to be such a big part of Missy & Jesse’s wedding. Casey had a huge part in the planning and the details of the wedding day and was also a bridesmaid. Because Casey has had to the role of bridesmaid AND photographer before, she highly suggested I shoot the day so that she could help with day-of things and be a bridesmaid! So, Logan and photographed Melissa & Jesse’s wedding day! It was just perfect! They got married at Cold Creek Farms in Dawsonville, which is this adorable [working] barn that can be converted into the cutest little wedding venue.
I just love all the details that Missy and Casey and Sarah created for the day! Missy and Casey have spent many years working at Barnes and Noble, so books are a huge part of their lives. These vintage books in the shape of M& J are just perfect!
This is Sarah, Missy’s sister and Sarah’s little girl, Olivia — isn’t she just adorable 🙂
The morning of the wedding, it rained buckets and buckets. So, when it cleared up at picture time we were so excited! It was muddy, but we didn’t care!
The wedding ceremony was supposed to be outside in the one of the riding corrals, but with the buckets of rain, it was just too muddy. So, they got married inside. And you know what, it was just perfect.
Jesse and Missy opted to NOT have a First Look and the photo below is Jesse seeing Melissa for the first time 🙂
Hold on tight for the portrait part of Melissa & Jesse’s day – they are so good! I couldn’t help myself when I was picking images!
