Sometimes I feel like things work out the way they are supposed to. Most of my fall weddings haven’t been booked for very long. Many of them I book less than 2 months ago, which is really, really weird in the wedding photography industry. What is also really, really weird is that I wasn’t booked for these weekends. They are BIG weekends to get married in Georgia. And for the last several years, I’ve always, always been booked a year in advance. So I have to say, I was a tad worried that my fall Saturdays would be spent doing yard work and painting my house, but thankfully, I’ve booked (last minute) most of the Saturdays this fall. And I’m so grateful and excited and pumped to be working almost all fall with some really fabulous brides and grooms. Each of them have their own unique reason for not hiring a photographer sooner in the game and each couple is going be fun and I believe that we were destined to work together. Jaime and Todd have thrown together their wedding in like 3 weeks. They haven’t been engaged long and as Jaime said, “when you know, you know”, so they are getting married in just a few weeks at the Ritz Carlton in Greensboro, GA. Because they live in NYC, we met there and did a quick little get-to-know-you Mini Engagement Session. We had a lot of fun in the extreme (well, as extreme as this year has been) heat and humidity. I’m sure it was extreme to them, though, because NYC (and Boston where Todd has been living) is not this humid and hot 🙂
Anyway, enough chatter! Let’s get on to the pretty photos!
