I can’t believe it’s been more than a week since my last post.  I can’t even remember what the heck I’ve done in the last week.  I think I had a couple of sessions, spent a whole day in Athens running errands, I spent all day Saturday doing NOTHING (which was super weird, but I didn’t feel like doing anything), and mostly chased Henry around…  

I sold my ‘old’ camera, which is exciting because I can now purchase a 50mm 1.2 lens.  I rented this lens a few times (for big events) and I just LOVE IT! I feel like I’ll leave it on the camera most times and it will help me use the camera on a more daily basis.  You know, to take more pics of Henry and life.

Yesterday, I decided that I’m going to make a book for Henry.  I’m going to photograph all the people and things that are important and always get his attention.  For example, Grama and the chickens, trucks and dogs, daddy and the lawnmower, caroline and quinn, L&E and driving…  the list goes on.  So, my plan is to photograph all this stuff, write a few words (not my forte) and get it printed with Blurb.com.  I think it will be a hit!  

I don’t have a lot of crafting urges and I’m TERRIBLE at recording things in a baby book or on a calendar.  So I think I should make this book thing happen so Henry can carry it around and destroy it 🙂  He’ll love it, I know.

You know, I think I always seem to dwell on what I’m terrible at, and don’t usually think about what I’m good at.  But seeing the word ‘terrible’ in big, capitol letters made me wonder what I’m wonderful at.  So right off the top of my head I think I’m wonderful at.  Well, I just don’t know.  I sit here staring at the screen thinking surely there is something, but not a single thing comes to mind.  I’ll think of something as soon as I hit ‘save’ and this whole thing is out there in internet world.  Ok, maybe I’m not WONDERFUL at one single thing, but maybe I’m good at a few things.  Like, always making breakfast (that’s important, right?) and letting Henry ‘help’ me make dinner.  You know that’s not as easy as it sounds; he’s got to sit on my hip staring at whatever I’m doing, so most things have to be done with one hand.  Try making dinner with one hand.  It’s not easy. Ok, I give up.  I can’t think of anything else to write and I have pictures to blog.
