Y’all! How’s it going? I am sooooooo looking forward to 2020 and all the fun things life has in store for me. I’ve spent the last 3-4 years focusing my energy on becoming a better photographer and much better business owner. In the process, I focused more of my energy on lifestyle portraiture and personal portraits and in doing so, my wedding business (Sara + Logan Weddings) didn’t grow. It didn’t die, but it didn’t grow. You know, like the saying goes, if you water it, it will grow.
These days, I feel ready to grow some more, so I’m adding some more weddings to my books, an employee to my business and some free time to my life. Who’s curious to find out where that lands me in the beginning of 2021? 🙋♀️ I know I am, lol!
Since you’ve made it this far, let me tell you a bit about Lauren and Zack – they met on a dating app (like John and I did!) a couple of years ago and hit it off immediately. They are getting married in June in two of my favorite wedding venues (Athens First UMC and Georgian Hall)! Lauren has been a bridesmaid in many of the weddings we’ve shot in the past several years and I feel sooo honored that she chose us to be her photographers.
We lucked out on a LOVELY winter day and took photos in all the fun downtown spots. Lauren’s pup, Sully joined us them for soooo many cute photos ❤️
You can’t take photos downtown and leave out the iconic UGA Arch!
As we were walking towards The Globe I spotted this amazing light!
There was an empty table at The Globe, so we knew it was meant to be! Isn’t Lauren’s ring lovely?!
Athens First United Methodist Church is one of the prettiest in Athens, if you want my honest opinion. The light is always amazing and the architecture is always fun to play with.
